Director of Academic Programs Position Available

Snow City Arts is seeking candidates for its Director of Academic Programs position (3 days/week). The Director of Academic Programs provides primary leadership and management of the academic facets of the arts-based programming that Snow City Arts provides for children in hospitals. With the goal of collecting, analyzing, managing, and producing data to obtain classroom credit for the greatest number of children in hospitals possible within the resources of the organization, the  primary responsibilities of the Director of Academic Programs include assessing and benchmarking of artistic programming to state and federal learning standards; improving, implementing, and managing the strategic academic evaluation and data tracking plan; interfacing with artistic staff to guarantee a strong data set; and building and maintaining relationships with central administrators and individual schools and teachers within the Chicago Public Schools and other regional systems.
