Team Snow City Arts.
Are you interested in getting involved with Snow City Arts AND participating in an exciting event this summer? Do you like to run, or enjoy great music and the beautiful city of Chicago?
We’ve got the perfect opportunity for you: Chicago’s 2013 Rock N Roll Half Marathon, on July 21, 2013! Snow City Arts is an official charity of the 2013 Rock N Roll Half Marathon run, and we’d love to have you on our team this summer. Sign up for Team Snow City Arts today!
Running with Team Snow City Arts has great benefits, including a training team with coordinated runs, a pre-race pasta dinner, and best of all, the opportunity to support us in our mission to educate and inspire children in hospitals through the arts.
Our goal is to recruit 25 runners for the race, and we want our team members to aim to raise $300. Snow City Arts will provide our runners with an easy-to-use online fundraising tool to help them build support. And don’t worry, if you’re not ready for a half marathon, you can still sign up with our team to run a 5k!
Joining Team Snow City Arts will allow you to register for the run at a discounted rate, but the earlier you sign up, the better! If you register between April 1 and May 31, the fee for the half marathon is $90 ($35 for the 5k), and between June 1 and July 14th, the fee is $110 ($40 for the 5k).
If you don’t want to run, but still want to get involved, we will also need volunteers to register to work on race day. Each Team Snow City Arts volunteer translates into $10 for us, so it’s another great way to help. Sign up here for Team Snow City Arts group at the Mini Waterstation on Lakefront Path at Jackson. Select “An individual registering to volunteer as part of a group,” then please select our group (Snow City Arts) from the Water Station drop-down menu.
Please also include your email address when you register because you will be forwarded parking information and more details via email as the event gets closer. If you have questions, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
